Fine frieze is a kipervævet wool which is soft to moderately hard felted, then weave structure can still be seen. The fabric is made, so it appears as a medium thick woollens of good quality that it could have been woven locally in the north during the Middle Ages until the 1800s. The quality is thinner than in our day-occurring qualities of frieze which is available commercially. It is excellent for coats, stockings, thicker, jackets, skirts, pants and the like.
